House A56 takes its name from its geographical location within the Condominium in which it was built. The design premises of this residence were based on two main demands: an integrated leisure sector for the patio and pool and the desire for a compositional hierarchy on the facade.
Within these demands, an “L” system was adopted to design the plant, where the living room, dining room and kitchen are connected to the patio through an introverted opening (interior) and the grill and barbecue space it also communicates with the external area through a side opening perpendicular to the rooms.
As for the solution of compositional hierarchy on the facade, a large pure and heavy volume was proposed over the void of the garage that opposes and plays with the lower open space. In search of a formal balance, a game of full and empty spaces was applied through columns and frames on the left side of the residence that confuse the eye and do not distinguish the internal functionality behind these volumes.
